Sound effects
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXOs3xQYBlM
This is the sound effects I am going to use for my film trailer. This is because these sound effects fit perfectly into my film trailer, because the sounds are scary and make the trailer more tense. This is good because it makes the film trailer more interesting and fits in with the horror genre very well.

Landscape Film Posters
My film poster is going to be landscape which is unusual and you wouldn't think that a film poster would be landscape. However, after researching up on this and seeing if film posters can be in landscape, I found a lot of popular films and well-known block busters that used landscape film posters. Therefore this means I am safe to make my film poster landscape.
Example of a popular film that has a landscape film poster.

Film Poster Effect
I added a record symbol to my film poster and was pleased with the outcome of what this did to the poster. This is because it was a unique idea and related well with my film and the horror theme/genre. It relates well with this because most horror films are recorded on a hand held camera and are usually first person films. Therefore my film may also be a first person film but even if I decide not to it still has a good effect on the film poster.
Approved For All Audiences
I am making sure that I will place this approved for all audiences image at the start of the trailer to make it look more professional. This is because all professional film trailers have this in their trailers and also my film production logo.
Coming Soon Banner
I have created this banner to add into my trailer which spell from left to right 'Coming Soon'. I am adding this after my trailer because this is what you see in teaser trailers. Also because it's a teaser trailer you don't release an exact date as to when the film is coming out to leave the audience in suspense. I also could of just put the text so it appears on the screen however I thought this would be a bit boring that's why I have made it into an animation so it spells out the word, making it a bit more interesting.
The Software I'm Using
The software I am using to edit my film trailer is Serif Movie Plus. This software allows me to be able to put all of my trailer together how I want to and add effects, text and music etc. This is a good software for me to use because it will create my trailer in a professional way.

Basic Storyboard
This is a mock up of my storyboard and what shots I want to film. I have created this because it then gives me a guideline when it comes to filming my trailer and lets me know what I'm going to be filming and how I want to film it. Although this is the initial idea I have came up with I can move these around until I find the best order I think will make the best teaser trailer.
This is another order I have came up with that I think could go well for my teaser trailer. I think this order is also a goods order so I will follow both of these storyboards then once all of my footage has been collected I will decide on an order that I will place the trailer in.
Reasons for not filming - Weather
It is important that the day I film I make sure that the weather is suitable for when I choose to shoot all of my footage. As you can see I am not going to film on this day because the weather forecast is rain. This isn't suitable weather conditions for filming because it wont have the effect I will want as it will look tacky if it is raining when I film my footage. I want the weather to be dry but at night so its dark, however not too dark because I wont be able to see much in my filming. Therefore I will check the weather forecast on a daily basis to make sure I find a suitable day for filming.

Why I won't use a costume for the Demon
In my film trailer there will be a demon or at least it will make it look
like something is there which adds mystery to the trailer. I won't use any
costume for the demon and I will try and make it so that you won’t even see the
demon you will just know something is there. This is because if I was to make
someone appear as the demon it would look unprofessional because I
wouldn't be able to create something that lives up to film standards. therefore
I will make it so that a shadow may appear or just the outline of a figure
because this way it still adds fear to the trailer but also mystery because
people will want to know what it is.
Problems when filiming
When I first attempted filming for my film trailer I chose to film at night because this way it would be scary and relate to the horror genre well. However when I watched the footage back that I filmed it turned out that you couldn't see much and it wasn't clear what was going on. This was a problem because I need to make sure that the filming I produce is clear to see but still relates to the horror genre. In order to do this I need to choose a better time of day to film my footage because this means that it will still be dark but it will be clear to see what is happening as well.
It is important that my audience can see what is happening in my trailer because it means they can see what is going on and get ideas as to what the storyline is about and what might happen. if the filming isn't clear enough to show this then it won't be successful and would look unprofessional.
Therefore next time I film I will make sure that it is still clear outside but not too bright because this will get me the best effect.

Acting
In my trailer there is going to be lack of acting and very little of it. This is because to make my trailer look as professional as possible I don't want the acting quality to b laughable therefore this is why I wont put as much in as a normal trailer because it wont live up to this standard. I will still make my trailer look professional and have a good storyline that will be shown in the trailer but there will just be less acting than usual.
How can I make my trailer realistic?
There are several ways in which I can make my trailer realistic. One of these reasons is to not make up a completely fictional character that people know for a fact doesn't exist. Therefore this means that I need to keep the character simple such as a demon because some people have proof that these exist meaning that more people will believe the story and it will make them question if demons are true if they didn't previously believe it. Therefore this means that I won't go over the top and make a costume making someone look like a fictional character because it won't interact with the audience.
Realism
It is important that my trailer is realistic to some extent. Although it is a horror movie and people don't always believe in the things you see in horror films, I need to make sure that I try and make my trailer as realistic as I can. I want the trailer to be as realistic as possible because this means that it will interact with my audience better and make them become more scared which is the aim of a horror film. This is what I want my trailer to do. It is important that I try and make my trailer look believable otherwise the audience wont interact with the trailer and will find it boring, but I don't want this.
